Butane 101
Not all butane is equal
The “x” is how many times the butane was refined. Cleaner fuel means fewer clogs and less taste.

How-to
Refill a torch the right way
Most “broken” torches just need a proper refill.
Step 01
Turn it off
Set the flame adjuster to minimum.
Step 02
Purge
Press the fill valve with a small tool until all hissing stops.
Step 03
Fill upside down
Turn the torch over and press the can straight down in short bursts.
Step 04
Wait 5 minutes
Let the fuel settle to room temperature before lighting.

Why won’t my torch light after refilling?
Usually trapped air or cold fuel. Purge the tank, refill and wait five minutes before trying again.
What butane should I buy?
5x or higher for torches. Cheap butane leaves residue that clogs the jets.
Single jet or triple jet?
Single jets are precise and save fuel. Triple jets light faster and handle wind and big cigars.
Do you sell lighter flints?
Yes, plus wicks and inserts for flip lighters.
What’s hemp wick for?
It’s a beeswax-coated hemp string you light with a lighter, then use as a slower, cooler flame.
