How-to
Set up a session
Five steps from empty base to first pull. A good bowl lasts about 45 to 60 minutes.
Step 01
Fill the base
Add cold water until the downstem sits about an inch below the surface.
Step 02
Pack the bowl
Sprinkle shisha in loosely, just below the rim. Don't press it down.
Step 03
Cover it
Stretch foil and poke small holes, or set a heat management device on top.
Step 04
Light the coals
Heat three coconut cubes for 8–10 minutes until they're ash-gray on every side.
Step 05
Warm up & pull
Place the coals, wait 3–5 minutes, then take slow, steady pulls.

Questions, answered
Do you sell hookah coals?
Yes. We carry natural coconut-shell coals, which light evenly and don't add a chemical taste, plus burners and tongs.
Which hookah should a beginner get?
A mid-size hookah with a wide, stable base, a phunnel or silicone bowl and a washable hose. It's forgiving and easy to clean.
How many coals do I need?
Most bowls run best with three coconut cubes. Start with two on a small bowl and add the third if the smoke gets thin.
Why is my hookah harsh?
Usually too much heat. Move a coal to the edge, take a break between pulls, or pack the bowl a little looser.
Do you carry replacement parts?
Yes: hoses, grommets, bowls, trays, diffusers and base adapters for most common hookahs.
