How-to
Downstems are sold by length. Measure once and you’ll never buy the wrong one.
Remove the old downstem, or look at where it would sit.
Measure from the bottom of the joint ring to the tip of the stem, in inches.
Note the joint size (10, 14 or 18 mm) at the top of the stem and at the bowl.
Pick a length that sits about an inch under the water line.
| Joint | Outer diameter | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 10 mm | ~10 mm | Mini rigs and small bubblers |
| 14 mm | ~14.5 mm | Most bongs and rigs |
| 18 mm | ~18.8 mm | Large water pipes |
All glass is sold for tobacco use only.
